Happy Earth Day 2008 - Volume 3

At the end of Earth Week, I think about what changes I can make to make a difference. I was completely mesmerized and inspired by the talk of John Fielder, Colorado's infamous nature photographer on Earth Day this week. It made me realize what a difference us photographers can make in our world!

Although I had attended a few presentations done by John Fielder, and own several of his books, I hadn't really understood the IMPACT of his photography on our natural world until I heard him talk this week on Earth Day. He presented a sneak preview of his newest book (to be in bookstores in September 2009) called "Ranches of Colorado" and will be a beautiful overview in stunning photos of the beauty and necessity of ranches in our Colorado Landscape! I hadn't realized some of the need for conservation of lands like this in Colorado.
