Miles turns 9 months....

Miles was an amazing subject at his 6 month photo session, but at 9 months we added the whole family, and I think I like some of these even more!

9 months is a great age to photograph because babies are sitting up strong and really responsive, but they aren't walking yet, and can't run away from the photographer! And I loved this set of Tshirts that mom bought with the big brother, big sister theme! Adorable little family!

Hamilton Turns 7 months!

Hamilton is joining two big brothers in the Preaus family - and as cute as all three boys are and all the boys together - I love when I get to do some photos of baby and mom alone....so Hamilton isn't overshadowed by his older brothers (cute as they are!)

I love using a little natural window light as in the first two photos....the baby stays engaged looking out the window...and I get that sweet light on his face! Doesn't Hamilton look like a little model in some of these photos?

Baby Brayden - 4 months old!

Some good friends of mine, Tamara and Loy, just had a baby in December, and I got to photograph beautiful Brayden last month at 4 months old! I love photographing babies in their own homes....where they are the most comfortable!

Katie at Home!

After doing portraits of Katie in studio for the last two years, we finally took photos in her space! And it was really fun! Kids are often more comfortable in their own place, with their own toys, etc. It was fun to include the dogs in some photos also!

Grand Opening of the Howling Coyote Coffeeshop!

Today was the Grand Opening of the Howling Coyote Coffeeshop here in Summit Cove, Dillon, Colorado! It's great to have a local coffee shop, and with such GREAT coffee! And great staff! (OK the smoothies and the breakfast sandwiches are pretty good too!)

And the owners are the best, locals here in Summit Cove, and they are going to form a team and support our local efforts for the Dillon CF walk on July 11th! Basically, it's a 1 or 2 mile walk around the neighborhood, but then again, last year's walk raised over $60,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

Colorado Log Homes to Photograph.....absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

I love these assignments....spending a few hours wandering around in and photographing these BEAUTIFUL log homes in Summit County! I would like to live in one, but second best is working in one AND getting paid!

The client is a log home manufacturer, Mountain Log Homes of Colorado, and boy do they do outstanding work! All of their clients/homeowners just rave about the final product, and you can see why! This first Silverthorne Log Home is going to be in the Summit County Parade of Homes in September!
