Photos Online - Rocky Mountain FlyFishing Classic for Cystic Fibrosis!

Participating in the 7th Annual Rocky Mountain FlyFishing Classic in Aspen last weekend was really a beautiful experience! And the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raised over $43,000 towards the cure for Cystic Fibrosis!

It is really an honor to be a part of this kind of fundraiser.... not a dry eye in the place during the presentation on Friday night by two sets of CF parents. And so many generous giving hearts! And the beauty of Aspen on a blue sky fall weekend.... next year I'm going to recruit a TEAM of photographers so we can get more river access and fishing photos!

7th Annual Rocky Mountain Flyfishing Classic for Cystic Fibrosis

I had the pleasure of photographing a great fundraiser in Aspen, Colorado this weekend - the 7th Annual Rocky Mountain Flyfishing Classic - a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis.

Details of the event are on the Cystic Fibrosis Website. It will still be a couple weeks to get all photos online, but I wanted to share a couple first picks! It was an amazing event to be a part of and we raised over $43,000 for the cause! Yippee!

Tim and Cheryl Heng of the Taylor Creek Fly Shop in Basalt, and the dozens of guides that donated their weekend to the cause! We WILL find a CURE!

The weather was 75 degrees and sunny all weekend which was a definite plus also!

Riley's 4 month old portraits....

Riley came into the studio with her parents, grandparents, and two uncles, and I was so impressed at how LOVED this little adorable Riley is! There were times that there were 5 or 6 adults behind me trying to make her smile and laugh and as you can tell by the photos Riley was responding! In a big way!

It's the first grandchild in the family, and it looks like a good place to be - what a lucky little girl! You can view Riley's Slideshow here.....

It really warms my heart - especially to see uncles without children who are willing to dote on their neices and nephews.... something tells me Riley's going to learn a few things from her uncles! And I guess that's going to be a plus and a minus! What a great family session!

Collin's Senior Portraits at Keystone

We took Collin's Senior Portraits at Keystone, Colorado, and had him bring his guitar along - I hadn't seen Collin since he was 7 or 8 and boy has he grown into a handsome young man! We had a great time and I love the addition of his guitar as WELL as the handmade shoes by his girlfriend!

We had ALMOST had to cancel due to weather, but I'm so glad it all worked out! There were a couple raindrops in one of the photos that I had to edit out, but nothing much!

Didi's Senior Portraits

My friends Deb, and her 17 year old daughter Didi traveled all the way from Lincoln, Nebraska to visit AND we shot her senior portraits! It was a blast! Lots of great fall colors, outdoors shots, and a few fun shots in the studio and with the KITTENS!
