Michael's Senior Portraits - Officer's Gulch

Michael chose Officer's Gulch (between Copper Mountain and Frisco) to take his senior portraits. What a great location! There's a window of opportunity where the fall leaves are beautiful here, a little earlier than other Frisco locations, but we seemed to pick it just right for these photos.

Melanie & Brian's Engagement Photos at CU Boulder

Last month I met Melanie and Brian in Boulder to take their engagement photos on the CU campus - where they met several years ago! What a great location for photos and a beautiful day. I'm looking forward to their June 2011 wedding at the Timber Ridge on top of Keystone Mountain!

Isn't this fire escape amazing? Like Romeo and Juliet.... or maybe that's because I just watched the movie "Letters to Juliet." It's at the Old Main Building on CU's campus. Beautiful Historic Building!

8th Annual Rocky Mountain Flyfishing Classic - for Cystic Fibrosis

Photographed the 8th Annual Rocky Mountain Flyfishing Classic for Cystic Fibrosis in Aspen over this past weekend - what a beautiful colorful event and a wonderful location! Participants fished with a guide on the Colorado River one day and the Roaring Fork River the other day - Friday and Saturday.

We are still editing some of the hundreds of photos taken this weekend - but they will all be online soon in this album.

Initial estimates are that the event raised over $35,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. More information about the event online at the CF Foundation.











These three fisherman below were NOT in the tournament, but I ended up photographing them numerous times waiting for tournament participants - and often while catching a fish! In this case I think the fish just got away!









Late in the day, we went to the new Kayak Park in Glenwood Springs and had some fun watching kayakers play in the wave.... a whole different way to enjoy the river!
